Maxim 7: BULLYING IS A TRANSITION. NOT A ONE OFF EVENT

We have 20 Maxims in the Not A Victim Programme, that act as rules or 'uncomfortable truths' to help guide parents.

For the last 2 years I've been running workshops across Dubai to help parents mentor their children through bullying. In 2020, I teamed up with Menno Siebinga and Barry Lee Cummings to make an even bigger impact.

The Not A Victim Programme has one goal in mind, to mentor 1,000,000 children through bullying in the 2020's. We have 9 years left to do it!

As parents we must face the uncomfortable truth that most children are likely to go through bullying. We need to look into preparing them for this, rather than reacting in the moment emotionally, when they experience bullying.

Here's a little segment from our online course, which guides parents to mentor their children at every stage. From parents in an emergency situation who need immediate support and advice, to parents who are consciously looking for ways to prepare their children for the potential of bullying.

The Martial Arts have a long and fascinating history, by looking back at where it all began, we can see a clearer picture of why Martial Arts, as a self development tool, is so effective in solving the modern problems we face today.

It’s hard to deconstruct the true roots of martial arts, although there is clear evidence of its origin dating back a milenia. The earliest evidence comes in the form of patterns in tombs and caves around the world displaying “mock combat, while there’s evidence to suggest that the classical era marks the beginning of tradition in combat and specific martial arts styles, mostly wrestling styles in the form of shuai jiao, Greek wrestling or those described in the Indian epics.
